About The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Operations oversees Studio Operations through a Studio Manager appointed at each location and an F&B Manager appointed to oversee Tonic Bar and Tonic House operations at each location. The Director of Operations maintains executive responsibility for the group’s F&B strategy, F&B income statement, merchandise sales and cost management and all operational cost centres related to FOH and BOH operations. The Director of Operations will hire a Commissary manager at the end of 2025 to oversee an off-site commissary kitchen and laundry facility.
The Director of Operations will work Monday - Friday, on-site, understanding that the business operates 7 days a week opening as early as 6am and closing as late at 10:30pm. As such, the DOO will be required to work outside of their regular work week and at unconventional times and is expected to manage their time accordingly.
