About the Role
We are seeking a full-time, in-studio Social Media & Brand Manager on our Marketing team to help support the expansion of the S&T brand and drive customer and revenue growth. We’re looking for a creative and intuitive individual to oversee our social media efforts and brand partnerships across all channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, content creation, and communications, is a strong writer with a sharp eye for design, and is results-driven and self-motivated. As our social media and branding expert, you have a passion for producing high quality work and creating exceptional guest experiences, and your goal is to develop innovative social media marketing strategies, create engaging content, and build community.


Primary Job Responsibilities

Be the voice of S&T across all social media platforms
Develop and manage S&T’s social media calendar and brand strategy to grow S&T’s brand presence and reach across all social media channels
Work closely with cross-functional teams to strategically plan, manage, and execute the social content calendar by developing content concepts from ideas to completion
Coordinate and engage with instructors and the S&T community to create content, including videos, reels, and photoshoots
Identify industry trends and best practices through monitoring competitors, influencers, and other social media leaders to develop ideas and proactively manage S&T’s social media strategy
Build relationships with key influencers, community members, and brand partners to increase awareness and engagement, and drive revenues
Manage S&T’s influencer program, including measuring results and driving its success
Oversee community management across all channels, including engaging with our audience and responding to questions, comments, reviews, and other opportunities with speed and judgment
Work and coordinate with brand partners, including organizing community events, activations, and social collaborations
Measure and report on relevant weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media metrics, including recommendations to shift on strategy when required
Administrative support, including but not limited to team onboarding, data entry, and marketing operations
 
About You

Undergraduate degree – specialization in marketing, graphic communications, and/or PR preferred
4-6 years of working experience in organic and paid social media marketing, communications, influencer marketing, PR and/or related field
Extensive experience with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Extensive experience with SEO, paid social advertising (e.g. Meta Business Suite) and digital marketing best practices
Thorough understanding of social media metrics and reporting tools
Proficiency in GA4 and Google Ads
Understanding of basic HTML, social media publishing tools, photo editing and blog publishing
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in graphic design, specifically with the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Photography and videography skills
Customer service oriented - passionate about problem solving and helping our community
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and creative writing
Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for design

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic full-time Sales and Events Associate who possesses a strong passion for networking, nurturing client relationships, and hosting a large variety of events. This role requires proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive sales and events success. 
As a Sales and Events Associate, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and executing impactful semi-private/private classes, events, and socials. In addition, you'll contribute to corporate sales and brand partnerships, requiring strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable in client interactions and adept at quick problem-solving, you will be a key player in achieving sales targets. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Administrative support for the corporate membership program, tracking employee memberships to produce accurate billing for corporate clients every month.
Administrative support for semi-private/private classes, and events.
Aid in the execution of sales strategies to increase revenue from corporate clients, brand partners, and private events.
Assist in corporate sales and brand partnership proposals and maintenance post-sale.
Track proposals for clients and maintain organized records.
Be the on-site event planner and be the second point of contact for corporate and private events.
Work cross-functionally with operations and food and beverage teams to ensure events and partnerships are executed at the highest level.
Develop and manage relationships with service providers such as caterers, DJs, and event rental companies.
Coordinate seamless delivery and pickup of equipment, catering and brand assets from facilities where necessary.

About You:

You have worked in management and are looking for reduced hours but to retain a degree of responsibility for a small team.
Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in corporate sales, events, administration, and/or hospitality, preferably with a premium brand.
Decisive personality, comfortable qualifying decisions which balance brand standards and logic.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, with a keen eye for creativity
Administrative experience is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, exhibiting excellence in effectively conveying information.
You enjoy working longer hours in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Exceptional customer service skills, showcasing a commitment to delivering outstanding service experiences.
Self-motivated and possess a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work.

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and dedicated Events Support Staff who is passionate about growing a business, networking, nurturing client relationships and planning and hosting a large variety of unique events. The ideal candidate must be available on-call for events, demonstrating open availability, particularly during evenings and weekends. The role is contractual, with a casual and flexible work arrangement.
The Events Support Staff will support private events hosted at Sweat and Tonic. You will also use your expertise to plan and execute internal company events including our annual “summer social” and end of year “gala”. 
Your position will be Events Support Staff, reporting to the Corporate Sales & Private Events Manager.
You will be responsible for supporting events at S&T’s two Toronto locations. 
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Overseeing the overall cleanliness and safety of the event space including washrooms, foyer space, and bar
Support bartenders in set up and tear down of the bar, stocking bar ingredients and ice as needed throughout the duration of the event
Assist in removing and/or rearranging furniture as required for an event as well as AV set up such as projector, DJ booth, and speakers
Serve drinks or food as required.
Clearing of glasses, plates, silverware, and garbage.
Other support roles and responsibilities as required for the successful execution of the event as indicated by the Corporate Sales & Private Events Manager.
Work cross-functionally with operations and food and beverage teams to ensure events and partnerships are executed at the highest level.
Ensure facilities at both locations are optimized for successful client events.
About You:

Must have 2+ years of professional experience in events, sales, business, or related field
Must have event planning experience 
Must have interest in fitness, health and wellness
College or university degree in business or related field is preferred
Bartending experience is an asset

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and driven, Registered Massage Therapist as an independent contractor to work at our Yonge and Shuter Street location. Our treatment room is excellent for a massage therapist who works well independently and has experience in growing and retaining their clientele.  As a practitioner of the Sweat and Tonic team, you ensure all wellness offerings are carried out with excellence. This opportunity would be great for a massage therapist who has availability 1-3 days per week and enjoys working with fitness enthusiasts and has an existing clientele but not mandatory.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all treatment offerings are executed at the highest quality level that aligns with S&T’s premium brand standards
Provide assessments and treatments according to the CMTO standards 
Encourage each client to re-book their next appointment according to their treatment plan
Complete SOAP entries for each guest(s) post treatment 
Ensure the treatment rooms are properly sanitized after each guest  
Ensure that all treatment rooms are set up for the next practitioner and are left in best conditions 
Motivate, inspire and build relationships with team members to foster a culture that collaborates, elevates, and belongs
Deliver exceptional customer service, both in and out of treatment
Participating in promotional events, photo & video shoots, and campaigns
Respond to email communication in a timely manner
Meet with management on a quarterly basis to review a marketing plan 
Notify management when supplies are diminishing, equipment needs maintenance or is broken
Complete Check out process with each guest 
About You:

Minimum 1 year of experience treating within a reputable spa or wellness clinic. 
Ideally has an existing clientele but not mandatory
Registered with CMTO and in good standing
Valid liability insurance/ malpractice insurance  
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Primary Job Responsibilities

Ensure a first-class experience for every Tonic Spa guest that comes through the door
Enure that operations are executed at the highest quality, and in a cost-effective way that aligns with S&T’s premium brand standards
Take responsibility for hiring, training and retaining a team of 10 spa concierges and spa guides
Manage a concierge and spa guide schedule which appropriately meets the demand of each shift
Perform regualar formal and informal coaching sessions with your team
Participate and contribute to the annual performance appraisal meetings for your team
Manage the appointment book - proactively working days and weeks ahead to drive revenue and make daily decisions to maximise bookings
Working as a team with practitioners, close sales on retail purchases of our skincare line
Create and deliver a suite of concierge team SOPs ensuring that these remain up-to-date and well-communicated and consistently executed
Plan inventory and purchase products for in-house use and for re sale
Enforce all relevant health and safety and hygiene rules and ensure that the Spa remains compliant with all regulatory codes
Report on monthly labour metrics
Lead the spa team, fostering a collaborative coaching environment
Become an expert in all modalities offered by Tonic Spa incuding touch therapies and biohacking technology. 
Build relationships with Tonic Spa guests, including nuturing regular guests and Club Transcend members. 
Find ways to continuously enhance the guest experience

About You

Luxury spa/wellness brand experience and/or clinical experience mandatory
A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations for a brand known for its client experience mandatory
Experience building a staff schedule mandatory

Additiional experience in a luxury spa, fitness, hospitality or retail environment is desirable
Interest or background in "life sciences" desirable

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Warmly welcoming every guest
Checking in guests to class
Assisting with basic guest service inquiries
Helping new guests get comfortable and find their way around by providing a 1-on-1 tour to every first-time guest
Maintaining the studio space by performing routine and miscellaneous tasks
Ensure classes start on time and are uninterrupted by assisting instructors at the door and guests into class on time
Tag team with the Back of House team behind the scenes to clear and reset the studio space
Answer guest inquiries to the best of your knowledge; ensure all enquiries receive a follow up
Work alongside your team members to create an uplifting experience for everyone
Miscellaneous administrative tasks as required
Program Requirements:

3-month minimum commitment
Recommended 3 hours per shift, with 2 shifts per week preferred

About the Role:
We are in search of a committed and enthusiastic full-time Shift Manager for our Yonge/Shuter location, who is passionate about advancing their career and ensuring exceptional guest services. The Shift Manager possesses natural leadership skills and is a proactive individual who collaborates effectively with all team members. 
As a valued member of the Front of House team, they will lead by example, actively engaging with guests, fostering positive and lasting relationships within our community. The Shift Manager will spend a significant proportion of each shift leading by example in performing both routine and complex guest transactions. 
The Shift Manager has oversight for all aspects of the operation. They have responsibility over front-of-house, back-of-house and Tonic Bar operations and are reponsible for the coordnation and performance of all team members on shift. They excel at on-the-spot problem solving to ensure the smooth operation of all technological components that make up the in-person guest experience. They are a skilled coach, eager to teach and guide others to success. As the most senior visible staff member, the Shift Manager shows a level of excellence in the resolution of difficult guest situations and is a source of trust and an example to others in this regard. The successful candidate will play an active role in the hiring and training of the team with which they will work on a daily basis. 
Shift Managers must display a level of natural comfort in challenging situations and will be trained in the safe de-escalation of situations of inventory loss management (theft) and challenging situations with members of the downtown community who find themselves tresspassing on Sweat and Tonic property.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Appointed ‘keyholder’ role, responsible for facility opening and closing procedures.
Oversee all daily operations including front-desk, back-of-house and Tonic Bar ensuring all departments are set up for success to deliver excellent brand standards.
Plays a crucial role in hiring and onboarding new team members.
Perform training for new team members according to pre-determined brand standards which the Shift Manager will help set. 
Leads by example in demonstrating excellent proficiciency in all aspects of FOH, Tonic Bar and back-of-house roles.
Plays an active role in standardising systems and processses and keeps team training guides and SOP documents current and organised. 
Plays an active role in solving scheduling issues and finding shift coverage when necessary. 
Adept at effectively resolving challenging guest interactions.
Possesses the ability to address tasks with deadlines in mind while also demonstrating keen judgment in recognizing and prioritizing essential assignments.
Conduct daily ‘pre-shift’ meetings by briefing team members about the upcoming day/week and individually brief team members with later start times.
Lead both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) shift teams to ensure the delivery of a premium brand experience during all shifts.
Strategically plan shifts and delegate operational duties among team members.
Execute guest services in strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
Handle account inquiries proficiently via phone, email and in-person.
Act as the go-to person for guest recovery situations while on duty.
Safely de-escalate situations of shoplifting and/or trespassing (formal training will be provided).
Proficiently troubleshoot A/V issues in fitness studios.
Provide detailed shift reports to the management team through written communication.
The role includes approximately 40 scheduled hours per week. The candidate must have availability Monday through Friday from 2:15pm - 10:30pm. Overtime may be required per the demands of the business. 
About You:

Demonstrated 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administration, and/or hospitality, preferably with a premium brand.
At least 1 year of proven experience in a supervisory role, successfully leading a small team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, exhibiting excellence in effectively conveying information.
Exceptional customer service skills, showcasing a commitment to delivering outstanding service experiences.
Self-motivate and possess a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work
A person interested in health and fitness considered a valuable asset.
