About the Role

The Security Lead Front of House Associate will be responsible for prioritizing security, safety, and guest experience above all. They will utilize strong observation, anticipation, and de-escalation skills and respond to security concerns swiftly or proactively, minimizing disruption and maximizing safety. The candidate must be available early morning, afternoon, or late evening shifts. They will be a team player who works cross functionally using excellent problem solving skills and an ability to take initiative and assist with studio tasks, finding effective solutions without direction. As a valued member of the Front of House team, they will lead by example, actively engaging with guests, fostering positive and lasting relationships within our community. 

Primary Job Responsibilities | Security

  • Control building access and ensure only authorized entry.
  • Patrol to prevent theft and address suspicious behavior.
  • Manage incidents calmly, including with homeless or intoxicated individuals.
  • De-escalate and resolve conflicts, and report incidents to management.
  • Work with law enforcement when needed.
  • Assist customers and staff, maintaining security presence.
  • Follow security policies and legal guidelines.
  • Respond to emergencies and follow protocols.

Primary Job Responsibilities | Guest Experience

  • Support Shift Manager in studio operations, technical issues, and guest services.
  • Greet and assist members; handle inquiries, concerns, and account management.
  • Maintain clean studio spaces and assist with opening/closing procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks across departments as needed.

About You

  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on conflict resolution and de-escalation.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to security and public safety.
  • Self-motivated with a strong orientation to work collaboratively and an ‘all hands on deck’ attitude.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods of time, walk, and respond to incidents.
  • 1-2 years in customer service or hospitality, ideally with a premium brand.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain certification is desirable.
  • A personal interest in health and fitness would be considered an advantage.
