About the Role:

We are in search of committed and enthusiastic part-time and full-time wellness enthusiasts to join our dynamic team in the role of Spa receptionnist at the new Tonic Spa, Wellness and Recovery Hub.The ideal candidate, is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and can effectively execute in a busy environment. As a Tonic Spa Receptionist, you will be the face of our brand, providing outstanding customer service and support to our clients and practitioners. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a health and wellness clinic or luxury spa. 

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests warmly, ensuring they feel valued and cared for from their arrival to departure.
  • Manage guest bookings and appointments across various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Facilitate check-ins, check-outs, and handle any inquiries, ensuring all aspects of the guest's digital and in-person experience are smooth.
  • Actively promote spa services, contributing to revenue growth by upselling treatments and packages.
  • Maintain a poised and professional demeanor in appearance, punctuality, and communication at all times.
  • Ensure the reception and spa areas are clean, organized, and set up to create a luxurious and welcoming environment.
  • Address guest feedback and concerns with professionalism, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly and to the guest’s satisfaction.
  • Support with inventory management, record-keeping, insurance and direct billing and the coordination of practitioner schedules for efficient operations.
  • Conduct spa tours for guests, introducing them to Tonic Spa’s state-of-the-art facilities and services.

About You:

  • 1-3 years of experience in hotel/spa reception and or wellness clinic.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in customer service
  • Proficient computer skills, including mandatory experience with spa/salon booking management software
  • Excellent command of the English language; additional languages are an asset
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Passionate about health & fitness 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (a minimum of 2 shifts per week are required)
