Tonic House, the multi-functional lounge, workspace, and event venue, inspires collaboration and innovation. Since opening in 2019, we've innovated and expanded our state-of-the art classes across multiple channels: In-studio, Sweat in the Park, Sweat Live, Sweat on Demand, and Sweat on the Roof – a one-of-a-kind, outdoor rooftop fitness studio in the heart of downtown Toronto. In 2023, we opened our first international sister location, Silver Springs, a boutique yoga and Pilates oasis in the heart of Los Angeles, and a new 25,000 sq.ft. immersive fitness & wellness hub in Toronto at The Well. About The Role:

Our team is looking for highly skilled Pilates instructors who are passionate about sharing a mindful movement experience for all levels and comfortable teaching in a hot room.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver world-class fitness experiences that emphasize inclusivity, education, and community-building
  • Develop class programming, playlists, and signature elements that allow your own unique approach and practice to shine while working within the framework of the S&T brand and standards of excellence
  • Motivate, inspire and build relationships with guests as well as fellow team members
  • Show up on time (15-20 mins before the scheduled class time) and be fully prepared to offer an exceptional experience to students
  • Live the brand values of leading by example, being relentless in finding a way, and demonstrating that we are stronger together
  • Participate in promotional events, photo/video shoots, and brand initiatives
  • Act as a Sweat & Tonic ambassador, both in and out of class

Qualifications:

  • Mat Pilates Certification
  • At least 3-5 years of experience teaching Pilates in group fitness studios
  • Thorough understanding of teaching to open level groups
  • Comfortability teaching in warm/hot studio spaces
  • Continued interest in additional training/continuing education/development
  • Interested in feedback/discourse to inspire growth amongst teaching staff
  • Committed to teaching authentically, thoughtfully, and with integrity
  • Possesses a natural ability to create connections and build community
  • CPR/AED Certification
